Beautiful. We stumbled across this little hidden gem, along our bike Ride of the camel trail! The staff there were brilliant and friendly, and even suggested some places to visit! We had the cream tea which is in my Opinion a must! Really recommend visiting here - a little pocket of tranquility!
Absolutely delicious. A small friendly set up. Frequented mostly by cyclists. A few places to park, but not a great deal. If you drive and are going down the hill, go past the vineyards and the tea garden is around a few bends on the right hand side. Certainly didn’t mind paying a teeny bit extra, clean, outdoors, friendly, helpful and served with a smile. Best part - a Gluten free awareness and my daughter and I had a gluten free cream tea ! It was delicious!!! Thoroughly recommend!!
Absolutely loved it. On the actual camel trail so can't miss it. Lovely menu, drinks and a small souvenir shop...and don't forget the cornish ice creams! Nice stop on the trail and we'll worth the visit.
It was a lovely place to take a break on the way back from Bodmin cycling on Camel Trail. I had crab salad and my other half brie and cranberry panini. Service was quick and very pleasant. Loved sitting in the orchard.
Delicious gluten-free brownie! And pasty & scone......there were three of us!. Lovely setting. Dietary restrictions: Great that there was a gluten free cake!
Stopped here a few times in the past and it has always been very pleasant. The chap in the shop was very polite and friendly. We ordered a crab salad and a jacket potato with coronation chicken. It arrived very quickly, and we got a very decent load of white crab meat with the salad which was fresh and very nice. We followed with a chocolate brownie and a dollop of Roddas. Delicious!
Wonderful place to take a rest break on The Camel Trail. Very relaxed environment and really friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of options to eat and drink including a number of local options. Immediately adjacent to the trail where there is a big fence where bikes can be secured.
Fantastic Scone Tea did it both ways didn't want to upset anyone lol. Daughter had a Ice cream sundae, great place just to have something to eat and drink and watch the world go by. Plenty of seating so you can sit in the sun or the shade all depends on yourself. Well recommended plus there is a Gift shop and a Ice Cream shop great for the kids
Hidden gem along the cycle trail. Lovely food on offer & perfect boost to continue cycling.
Beautiful location and the cake was nice. Coffee took 20 mins to arrive after ordering. Cutlery dirty and enough staff but lacks organisation. 2 ladies arrived with a small baby and dogs off lead. Admittedly they should have been put on lead, but a member of staff called 'Mike' was particularly rude. He handled the situation badly and they left. As one lady quite rightly said, there are ways of communicating, especially when it is within earshot of other clientele. Vegetarian options: Salads, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, cakes and ice cream. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families here.
