We both had the 2 course light bite menu £13.45 per head. prawn cocktail was great size portion . 6 oz steak chip and pepper corn sauce. Both steak cooked perfect has ordered. Faultless great service,good selection of beers. Well done Red Lion keep up the good work you did us proud.Service: 5/5
Love coming for lunch here and so does our dog. Food is lovely and very cosy inside. In the summer you've got the beautiful decking area. My dad calls this place the lamb shank pub, as its what he always has!Service: 5/5
We booked the festive menu and had the two courses main and dessert. The main meal was very poor the sprouts where undercooked and the carrots where overcooked. The roast potatoes where tasteless and soggy. The turkey had sinu in it overall the meal was very poor indeed. We have been here before and enjoyed it but will never come again after this.

Only called in for a pint. Beer was ok, place was clean. Food looked ok when served to other table's. Staff seemed helpful. It's changed from when I was last in there which was about 10 year's ago as I now live in Australia. Good to see it still open though.Service: 3/5

We were warmly welcomed at the main entrance to the pub, explained that we only wanted a drink and pudding and they were happy for us to do that. Staff very attentive. Great puddings, very tasty. Next time we will be trying main courses.Hotel highlightsQuiet, Relaxing
