Came here on Sunday lunch time. The beer very good but not the best, have been trying similar places and had slightly better than here. For a beer only would give 4 stars, but had a meal too... overpriced to quality. So 3 stars only.
The beer is very good, the food, however is way overpriced for what it is. On my last visit, a quiet weekday lunchtime, the landlord served us and made me feel as welcome as cholera. Won't be back after a very substandard meal at a premium price and crappy, miserable service.
Been going there for years. No idea what the food is like, I go there for the amazing beer they brew. You can get a taster selection of three of their beers if you like, but beer comes in pints as far as I'm concerned, not diddy glasses, so I go the pint option. Ignore the whiner that posted twice, go for the beer!
How rude. My partner, daughter and I parked the car up, looking forward to an evening drink. While checking our phones, the owner of 'The Lord Raglan' came up to us and stated that this is a private car park and we should leave. Didn't even ask if we were visiting the Pub. I will not be recommending this Pub to my friends and colleagues.
Good food, nice cosy place, and friendly staff.
Lovely food. Good price. Friendly staff. Allows well behaved dogs. Nice view.
Excellent food, the steak and ale pie is a particular fave. Good selection of brewed in house beers, and guest ales.
Friendly place with excellent beer and good portions of tasty food.
Landlord is defo Victor meldrew. Very miserable. The soup was horrible and the place was very grubby and hasn't been cleaned in years.
Good food, really nice place.
