Good selection of food and drink Well placed for going to after a good walk ‍ and having a caravan site next door it's ideal . Bar area not very big with very low beams so mind your head if you are more than 5ft 9 ins. Tables are a bit too close together and feel you are sat on top of each other, but on a plus side has a large outdoor seating area with alot more space.
The brown cow is a wonderful restaurant ,lunch will be served 12 to 1:45 pm in different varieties, delicious food,Burrs country park visitors very well attracted by the brown cow.Friendly staffs and friendly, beautiful garden to sit and dine and everything here fantastic.
Always a great experience. Not posh but really good pub food in a very relaxed environment. Full of walkers and campers with their dogs. If you don’t like dogs then it won’t be for you but for us a pub needs dogs and long may they continue to be welcomed. Food consistently reasonable value and never had a bad meal. We are going to try their Christmas meal in a couple of weeks and looking forward to it.

Went for lunch on Friday. The pub was very busy but the staff worked very hard to serve everyone. There was a young lady behind the bar who was very pleasant and welcoming despite being rushed off her feet. We had to wait a little longer than usual for the food but this was because the pub was so busy and it didn't spoil our visit despite my Father in Law moaning about the service. The food was nice and I would definitely recommend this pub to people. The prices for the food were very reasonable too. The staff did really well and did not let their hard work affect their customer interaction. Thank you.
Nice food. Only served lunch from 12-1.45 so make sure to get there early. Lovely stop in burrs
The is a true British pub not many of these left. The food is truly fantastic. My favourite is the big mix grill. Great service and a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Dogs a very welcome.
