Will never return to this place. From the moment we arrived we saw the staff members making comments and laughing looking over at a group of young girls who were just there for abit of fun. For then a rude member of staff to approach us to ask us why we were there. We then proceeded to go up to the bar where we were ignored and old men to make comments such as ‘you should cover urself up’ is an absolute disgrace for a grown man to have said this to 2 18 year olds and for the staff to have heard this and just laugh it off! We felt very vulnerable and could not have brought this up with the staff as they were the problem and this eventually left us no choice in but to leave. Absolutely awful, please avoid if no stars was an option I’d choose that.
Went in got laughed at felt like it was the 1940s we where wearing golf skirt with jumpers not that it matters and got told are use actually going to order something and got told to cover up don’t recommend
Great pub, I love a pint here with the wife. She has gin and tonics, by the way has to be Schweppes. I love a Coke and rum. Very quick service, and that's what I like. A real pub, none of these food pubs with screaming kids. Jane is lovely to, cannot be replaced!
A traditional working class local with pool and darts and regulars, who host the place alongside the operators, who are also busy supporting community matters. Decor is tired, though some new bar stools were just coming into use and were comfy. Prices were pleasing as was the product range.
Nice pub,and real ale as well
Visited this pub on a cold rainy Sunday night. Very friendly. Had a good time with wife and daughter. Bartender was great. Very friendly and helpful.
Loved this place, a Friday afternoon visit and a good atmosphere from all the locals. A good selection of beers and if you like a sing song with a free Duke box this is a pub to visit , you won't be disappointed .
Absolutely fantastic pub with wonderful people and a great atmosphere, definitely a place you want to be to chill out and have a few beers. Had a few brilliant nights here and the staff are alway willing to help with any requests. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks guys
Just a traditional pub full to the brim with likeable characters. Not for the faint hearted mind
