Colin is the one of if not the best night porters in the world. He is an amazing man and he’s treated all of us like family. Made us all feel very welcome and it’s much appreciated when we are not home. What a great guy xx Rooms: Nice and clean Safety: Colin made us feel safe all night long and comfortable and answered any questions we had. Food & drinks: Lovely beers and breakfast
Room 210 TV didn't work. Left early. No communication or offer of another room until we were leaving. Condiments were not in room upon arrival, only got put in on 2nd day. Only 1 bath towel provided per adult, no hand towels. No bath matt. Cleanliness poor. Soap etc low needed refilling. Room smelt nice and beds made but that was it. Housekeeping every day which was nice not expecting. Friendly staff. Breakfast was fine, just side plates were used for a cooked breakfast to limit portions.
Me and my Dad stayed for a few nights and it was a good stay. The staff were delightful and friendly! The food and drinks were excellent. Definitely a big shoutout to the staff, bar tenders and chefs for looking after us! Rooms: Clean and tidy Nearby activities: Pubs, shopping centres and good views Food & drinks: Delicious
Old, outdated, needs an overall refurbishment. Staff ok. Dog friendly. If you like comfort in a hygienic, clean environment but don't like old outdated gruby looking, then I recommend stopping somewhere else. You really do get what you pay for with this hotel. It's OK but wasn't for us. My partner and teenage son described it as feeling more like a hostel. Rooms: Extremely basic, more attention to cleaning needed. Bathroom very old and gruby. Not very welcoming. Very stained mattress mattress topper didn't fit properly. Rooms big but limited facilities. Towls very small. Windows drafty. Noteworthy details: Take your own hairdryer. Unless you want to pay £10 deposit. The lift is very noisy you can hear it in your rooms. Park on street round the corner no charge unlike on front of hotel. The bar in the hotel was very expensive.
Stayed here for the weekend and glad we did lovely room with sea view a very clean hotel all communal areas were spotless didn’t book breakfast but there is a co op behind and loads of cafes. Walking distance to the the town but can get a team who I is outside the hotel if needed. If you want a cheap but decent hotel this is the oneRooms: 5/5
I stayed here last weekend on a work trip. I decided on the hotel as it was very reasonable rates and I knew I would not be spending a lot of time at the hotel. I had a single room which was quite small but it was clean and what you would expect at this price point. The reason I have dropped a star in my rating is that there was no tea/coffee supplied in my room when I had booked in. There was a kettle and mug but nothing else. I did ask at reception but even after asking none was provided. Others had their refreshed daily but in my 2 night stay I got nothing. Breakfast was good and at least I could have a brew finally. Oh, and nearly forgot, WIFI was shocking too, didn't work half the time in my room.
I was there out of season, so skeleton staff. Cleanliness of room could be improved. But not bad. No bathroom products, so bring your own. No chef on duty, so staff did their best breakfast very good evening meal bland. Overall staff good. Value for money. Rooms: Adequate Nearby activities: Blackpool and close to tram but all Blackpool amenities in walking distance.
Absolutely shocking place. Nobody at the counter to check in. If you wanted a cuppa in your room there was only one mug.. tv didn't work... shower had a funny smell.. certainly not quiet.. you can hear everyone and everything... because its a large hotel on the way out we couldn't find our way so we asked a member of staff who also couldn't tell us how to get out.. started to get the whole hostel vibe!!! Horrid. Left something there and only realised when we got back and the staff were absolutely useless and didn't even call back. Gormless was an understatement.
Tiny single room, prime location by the seafront. clean on the surface, but no hot shower for two night, door goes on unlocked after cleaning and management doesn’t seem to care much unfortunately. would benefit from a renewal.Rooms: 2/5
Wasn't going to do this but I gave the manager the chance to put this right but it's just been a joke.. AVOID!! Stayed here last week with my 3 kids. TV didn't work, shower was infested with silver fish and my 2 year old found a previous guests vape liquid under his bed which indicates to me that this place isn't cleaned to the extent it should be. The manager gave me a fake email on the morning of us checking out and advised we complained there. I managed to find his correct email and he finally responded to me "I agree yous had silverfish in the shower, I agree the TV didn't work" but then instead of offering anything to compensate for the fact we were given a room in this state and couldn't use the shower or TV hes clinging onto the fact his staff offered to move us to another room whilst my 3 kids were sleeping we spent 3 hours driving why would I want to move my 3 young kids around after 9 o'clock at night when we were leaving in the morning anyways? Oh and offered us a really generous 10% off our next stay. What a joke. We go away often on the weekends and stay in numerous hotels and this is by far the most poorly ran hotel I've stayed in.
