Amazing bed and breakfast accommodation run by lovely family. Clean, tidy and spacious rooms. The dining area, bar and lounge is so cosy. Lovely cooked breakfast with a variety of items to choose from. Lovely people who make you feel at home while relaxing at the bar with a drink. Most comfortable bed we ever slept in while away. Great free parking for convenience and also offered helped carrying our bags. Easy to catch tram right outside hotel to all main attractions on the strip. Thank you so much for welcoming us and looking after us. Would highly recommend! Walkability: Easy to access public transport, trams as hotel is right outside tram stop
Spent a few days for anniversary and really can't fault this place, the owner Christine and son Gary went all out to make us feel at home and we felt we left I hope as friends as we will return. Room was clean and tidy and had great sea view. Breakfast was delicious, never left a thing. Never known such a friendly place. Little pub by hotel the gynn was perfect for a meal and quiet, trams right outside but we chose to take car on short distance to pier . Thank you Christine and Gary we will be back regards sue and wayne
The room we stayed in was very clean and a lovely size. We came for the weekend. The owners and staff are very helpful, friendly, kind and will do anything to help make your stay the best. Breakfast was sausage, egg, beans, Hash brown and bacon 1 piece of each and toast. There was also cereal, yoghurt coffee, tea, apple and orange juice available unlimited. They were very accommodating as they had soya milk because I have a milk allergy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone.
Disappointing stay at the Maple, we won’t be staying again! Advertises a bar on site. No bar open and won’t be for the foreseeable and still advertised as having one. Not a great deal to do with children out and about after dark in Blackpool so we would have like to have sat in the bar area and played cards with a drink. The bedding, towels and bathroom were clean but the room was very dated and miss-matched. The smell as you came into reception was not the best, smoke and stale food. They also advertise parking but only three spaces. The cooked breakfast was not good, greasy and undercooked, think maybe cooked in advance not fresh. Not worth the money at all!! Pics of out front and our view from the room!
Such a lovely place to stay, we had 2 rooms, one being the double sea view the view was stunning and one being the triple family room , both rooms had lovely comfy beds , lots of clothes storage space, TVs and tea and coffee provided , plenty of clean towels … the owners are extremely attentive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble - the breakfast is very yummy and plenty of drinks yogurts and cereal options aswell as a lovely full fry up … it’s a truly lovely place to stay … the only downfall is how far the hotel is from the tower, having never been to Blackpool I was unaware of the importance of this if you have a little one who doesn’t want to walk far and you don’t drive , there is however a tram and a well priced local taxi firm to help you get where you need to go - there is the beach right across from the hotel also where you can sit at a bench facing the beach and watch the sunset, truly beautiful
Lovely lady, fab breakfast, was very clean.....but....had sea view but small window and couldnt open window more than an inch, room got very warm, we were on the top floor, you should know that there is no lift so you will climb alot of stairs, we couldnt breathe when we got to our room. Amenities were very basic, tiny shelf with tiny kettle,2 cups, balanced on the wall by the window. Bed was comfy and very clean Place very stuck in a time warp, nobody about really if you needed something, in honesty i think it should be B&B not hotel, and descriptions need updating and warn people about the stairs.
Stayed here for work, place was clean and great sea view. Enjoyed the breakfast, very tasty. The service was excellent, the two people I met could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Enjoyed my stay there.Rooms: 5/5
Christine was the perfect host. We stayed in the family room and it was plenty big enough for the four of us. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean and it has a good shower. The included breakfast was everything you needed to start the day.
Thank you for our stay. We had a great time in Blackpool and the weather was kind. Our rooms were spotless and cosy and warm.... breakfast was delicious with a warm and friendly greeting each morning.Rooms: 4/5
Stayed 18th - 21st July. First impression was to be honest very mediocre thought It would be just a standard old fashioned B&B, however we were proved wrong. Stayed in family room 1 double and 2 single. View was rubbish but we didn't book for the view. Room was clean and spacious, ensuite was very modern. Hosts were lovely and friendly. . Full breakfast and breakfast choices were great. Couldn't fault how we're were treated, the hotel cleanliness or the facilities. Tram and bus stop right outside so had a choice whether to use transport or walk.. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Xx
