Beautiful place to stay. Rooms are great and bed is super comfortable. Nice bathroom and bath and nice touches like a choc on the pillow. Breakfast is fantastic. Evening menu was a bit experimental so some hits and some misses. Lovely bar if a bit small. Local beer on tap which is always a hit for me. Well recommended.

We had a superb time at The Peacock, fabulous food both for dinner & breakfast. The staff are so welcoming & nothing is a problem. We very much look forward to returning soon, thank you for making our stay a memorable one.

The food was delicious, the service was not. The bartender continuously snuck to the back room to use his cell phone so it took a long time to get our first set of drinks and took even longer to get more. When the waiters/waitresses were present, they frequently walked right past us when we tried to get their attention. Good food doesn’t mean much if the service is terrible.

Wonderful, memorable experience. A lovely wedding present. Just what we needed. The staff were outstanding. Will definitely be coming back for our anniversary. A big thank you to all.
