We stopped off for food, has ample parking at the back, a beer garden and some semi outdoor seating at the back.nCould do with a bit of a deep clean and love but seemed a lovely pub. Food was of good quality and didn't seem like the usual microwave fair, dog loved his full dinner.nnDog friendly pub.
Stayed using the camper spots.nGood value for the parking.nDo bear in mind you can only use toilet facilities and only when the pub is open.nWhich is fine, but if you need more then may want to look elsewhere.nnPlenty of space for a medium camper. I have a converted small van so was easynnIt's so handy being so close to the town though. Unlike most local campsites.nnBeer was fine. Service was lovely.
The lady who takes care of the rooms and showed us to it was so lovely and so was the room. Fresh, clean and comfortable. The location was great and there was plenty of free parking at the back of the pub. A bit expensive for the night £110, but it was during a bank holiday Friday so maybe that was to be expected?
Visited recently with the Onewheel Midlands group as part of a large party and the pub couldn't have been more accommodating. They sorted our food orders ahead of time and put the food on as soon as we arrived, gave us a private area to the rear of the pub and gave us access to sockets so that we could charge our boards. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, highly recommend!
Amazing place! Booked a table in advance for Sunday for 3 people plus dog, the welcome and service we received was absolutely superb nothing was too much trouble!, the food was all out of this world and well priced. Much fuss was also made of our dog. Can't wait to return on our next trip to Bakewell!
