Beautiful historic building. Great rooms and furniture, good bed. Large and lovely bathroom. Very quiet at night despite being next to a road. Only thing we heard was an owl. Very helpful and kind staff who all go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Great breakfasts!Rooms: 5/5
Lovely pub with really good quality food. The squid was surprisingly good. Try the funky monkey ale, very moreish. The staff were brilliant, really friendly. Overall highly recommended. Thank you.Service: 5/5
Booked a meal at this pub as it was halfway between where I live and where a friend was staying and had stated it was dog friendly. Wasn't sure what to expect as had never been here before, the menu looked like a decent range of pub food so was not expecting too much. Actually the food was really great, starters, mains & desert were all really tasty. The pub itself was lovely and the staff very friendly. And they made a fuss of my friends dog. We had a lovely evening and look forward to going back.
Room was very comfortable, but fairly basic with en-suite bathroom. Includes tea/coffee facilities. Really good full English breakfast. Free car park a short distance from the inn. Food & drinks: Breakfast was great and the meals in the pub are exceptional.
Fabulous atmosphere and service for our staff christmas party. Good was outstanding, service prompt, efficient and friendly even though we were a big group and the pub was very busy. Definitely will visit again.Service: 5/5
Lovely staff and place. Nothing much wrong with the room, only I needed a higher chair to be able to use it. I'm sure if I asked one would have been found. I managed on the bed. Only one night.Rooms: 4/5
Wonderful stay. Exactly what a Inn should be. Me and my team stayed at Oakhill whilst we was working at Glastonbury Festival. Felt like a home from home. We was well and truly looked after and fed food exceptional by Wayne and his team.
The food was really delicious ! We were new to the area and therefore new to the pub but Emma at lunchtime was so welcoming in an ‘unoverpowering’ way and so we returned in the evening! Again made to feel very welcome and at our delicious pizza’s and supped our tasty Oakhill own beer on the sofa by the lovely log fire. Just like being at home! Excellent
Thank you for a wonderful stay, staff were amazing and the room was wonderful and very clean. Very relaxing stay and the chef's make delicious food, this is a little gem. Thanks so much. Nearby activities: Longleat is worth a visit.
Great meal. Very good staff and lovely, cosy atmosphere.
