We had a good stay. Rooms are beautifully decorated. We had a bit of trouble figuring out how to work the shower, but the staff was really helpful. Too bad you can't have anything to eat at the pub. The owner however was very helpful in recommending pubs and places for breakfast. She even made dinner reservations for us.
Fantastic accommodation. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Landlady was amazing, very friendly and went over and above to make our stay so enjoyable. The rooms are unique and the bar and lounge decor is fascinating and quirky, just how we liked it. Lots of history about the building its self. Price of accommodation very affordable. We will definitely be staying here every time we stay in Bath from now on. This beats any hotel. Buses run regularly from the accommodation into Bath City Centre. There is also a wonderful Cafe call the ‘Hub’ near by . We loved the landlady , she made our stay, as well as the lovely accommodation.
It is a cozy bar, where its 2 hostesses are charming. Variety of drinks and snacks in bags. Although you have a fish & chips nearby and you can take it to the Bar and eat it, the Bar even offers you mayonnaise, ketchup, salt, vinegar, cutlery and napkins. therefore, I feel at home. Also you can bring your board games like dominoes, cards etc and have a great time. It open at 5pm and usually close at 10pm although, it close until the customers leave, sometimes after 11pm. Ah, it's also a B&B with parking located in Combe Down, Bath, cheers!
Really enjoyed our stay the last couple of nights the owner was so friendly and welcoming and the bed was the most comfiest would stay again
Lovely place to stay, host was very welcoming, room was lovely and clean and had tea, coffee, sugar etc.. Bed was extremely comfortable and our room not being an en suite was not a problem at all! Private bathroom was just a step away from the room, which again was lovely and clean. 100% recommend, would stay here again!
We booked into this delightful character Inn on the sour of the moment and so very glad we did! The lovely Louise and her colleague Maggie met us with such genuine warmth and could not have been more helpful. The decor is gorgeous if you like something a little different and the room with ensuite was spotless and with olde world luxury including a large, comfortable four poster bed... Joy!! Honestly everything was just so above excellent and we cannot recommend highly enough. You simply NEED to stay here to experience the joy of it.
Just returned from our stay here last night. This place is absolutely fab from the greeting when we arrived to the goodbye this morning! Full of character and so quirky. As soon as we walked in it smelt amazing and was so lovely and clean. The bedroom was lovely and the bed was so comfy. The owner couldn't do enough to help. As the bar/food part was closed the Hub just 2 minutes walk was recommended for breakfast which we had was lovely and very cheap. We cant wait too go back again and would definitely recommend.
Greeted by a very friendly woman. Room was quirky and quaint. Lovely modern bathroom although no shower. Very happy with it, perfect for an overnight stay
Very nice guest house, super friendly host. Recommended good local eateries within walking distance, provided bus route info and a brochure of things to do in Bath and surrounding areas. Rooms are clean and tidy.
Quirky place. A step back in time. Everything perfect but we had trouble sleeping with hard mattress on 4 poster bed. Quiet night. Taxi will cost £8 approx from Bath Spa train station & £2.50-£3.50 via Bus no.2 next to station.
