Be careful with the car park here now, as you will need to register your number with staff when visiting. Always a lovely pub to visit and have a meal. A great choice on the menu and at reasonable prices. The only downside was the hot drinks were not quite right, taste wise, otherwise great tasting main meal. The dessert was not bad too, but have had better. Yes I would recommend this place to eat. Been here before and would visit again.
Great place to visit. Lovely building and great staff. Food was really good. Had a hard time choosing what to eat, it all sounded amazing.
We are a party of four although the car park was full we were shown to a nice table.Service by Charlie was good along with the food be was very helpful with choice of deserts. A pleasant experience at a fair price

Words can not describe how nice of an experience it was to dine at the Globe. Beautiful decor, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food from the starter to desert. Will visit again without hesitation!
Lovely place, very sweet waitress and impressed by the food. The lunch menu portions were a lot smaller than the same on the main menu which was disappointing but my dessert from the main menu was amazing and blew me away! Rather Heston Blumenthal with an edible plant pot, chocolate soil and edible flower petals! Really impressed, especially for a chain pub. The toilets and washbasins were sparkling but the walls, wood panelling, skirting boards etc could do with a good clean!
Lovely pub restaurant. 4 of us including 1 child had lunch. The children's menu has a good selection at a very reasonable price. The adult menu equally as good. I had cod and chips which was excellent a very good portion. Great service great ambience . Highly recommend!
We hadn't booked but they found us a table. Enjoyable meal and drinks. I had the camembert and kedgeree. This was quite strong in flavour but nicely topped with a poached egg. The chicken pie was huge!! Nice atmosphere but noisy, due to a lack of soft furnishings to absorb the sound. Happy with the service.
Called in for Sunday lunch at this nicely kept rural Inn. The car park was busy with customers making their way to the pub/restaurant. Always a good sign I believe. We were given a choice of tables and were treated to a lovely traditional British Sunday roast. Local vegetables and beef from the near by farm we were told. I have to say it tasted excellent. We enjoyed the meal and the local beers !! Good to see a busy restaurant in these difficult times. Well done The Globe.
The place is ok however the food isn't great. I ordered a steak and it it had so much grisstle half of it was inedible.
