The staff here were so helpful and welcoming, the old pub is historic and there was a lovely atmosphere. There is a barn venue. Cafe and fish and chip van. What a beautiful location with plenty of space. We were only passing through but we will definitely go back and stay longer. There are 24 hour toilets at the pub. There is also a toilet, shower block currently being built.
Just there to have a look around. Loved the mural.in The Barn and meeting Michael the Bantam! Hoping Rock Choir can sing there next year. All very well organised. The fields looked well looked after and it was so peaceful. I would imagine the music nights it's very different. Very impressed!
Love staying at Tuckers! Always get a warm welcome from the friendly team. There’s a lovely cosy bar and great food and frequent entertainment on site if you want it. On my last stay, I was impressed with the new shower block too. It’s a good spot from which to go on walks or head into Bath, Glastonbury or to the Cheddar Caves. Have two more visits planned to Tuckers this year so far and would highly recommend
Lovely welcome from Prem and team. Loads of different fields and hard standing to choose from, with a sparkling new toilet and shower block accessible from all fields. The Parlour and pub serve food, drink and tasty cakes and on the Saturday the Barn was busy with a Halloween party, with children and adults dancing to local bands. What a lovely inclusive atmosphere! Looking at the calendar, there is tons going on, and I’ll be returning, preferably when the weather is better. That said, Prem was on hand to rescue me with a tractor tow out of the wet field, so all was well.
Cracking little campsite attached to the old pub. Very reasonable prices, toilets and washing facilities. A couple of pitches with electric hook ups. Great little cafe on site. Occasionally there is events in either the cafe or barn which are brilliant.
Stayed here over new year despite challenging ground conditions the staff fitted everyone in. The drinks are reasonably priced and the curry was yummy. The site has direct access onto a footpath which takes you into the nearby village which has 2 pubs and co-op The doesn’t have showers yet but I think the basic nature is part of the charm ! Will certainly be going back with my friends !
Fantastic campsite. My son & I cycled with camping gear from Bristol and really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful surrounding countryside and at the site itself great cider and live music both nights. Couldn't ask for more in terms of hospitality in general from Prem and the brilliant staff team. A shower block is under construction as at present that's not available and only cold water for washing up. With only a 2-man tent and 2 bicycles they squeezed us in on one of their busiest weekends Jubilee. Looking forward to going back.. even if just popping in for a cider and some live music while out on a bike ride via Bristol & Bath cycle path and the amazing 2 tunnels greenway. If cycling, beware very steep hills from Wellow to Farleigh - very tough going for my 10 year old!
This was my first experience in my newly acquired motor home. I found the site easily, the location was great for walking my dog and the stream just over the stile was perfect for her as she loves water. Prem and his team couldn’t have been more helpful as I didn’t really know what I was doing. Would definitely recommend and if you like music and events they put on some great ones as I discovered the Saturday I was there.
Brilliant pub and campsite. Very helpful and welcoming staff, in particular Bravo for the efficiency of the young lady behind the bar who was wearing a smile permanently despite being very busy. Thank you Prem for all your help. It was very appreciated. I will be back as soon as I can. Thank you again, all the way from the very Eunice windy Isle of Wight.
Stayed at the campsite for 1 night last week, & went into the pub to sample the cider. What a great night! Such a friendly place. Our dog was also made welcome. The campsite was tranquil with lovely views. Will definitely be back!
