We had a weekend getaway at this hotel, and it proved to be conveniently located, just a short 20-minute bus ride from the city center. The bus stop right in front of the hotel made commuting a breeze.nnThe hotel staff were friendly and quite helpful throughout our stay.nnAs for the rooms, it's worth noting that noise levels can vary depending on the side of the hotel. Mine wasn't facing the road, so I didn't experience road noise, but the walls are quite thin, allowing sounds like beds creaking, conversations, and footsteps to carry through. Additionally, the heating system seemed a bit dated, resulting in a somewhat chilly room at night, although this wasn't a major concern.nnIt's important to mention that the hotel doesn't offer breakfast or kitchen facilities, so planning for meals is necessary. There's a mall within walking distance where you can conveniently purchase food.nnConsidering the price, it's a reasonable place to stay. However, if the cost isn't significantly different, I might prefer a more central location for added convenience.
Room twin room was large enough with plenty of plug sockets around the room.nnUnfortunately the window didn't seal properly when shut so it let in a slight draft.nnThe sleeping area was clean but the shower room was not. It was also quite cramped. The shower also has weak water pressure and was very inconsistent with its temperature at best, luke warm and would randomly not work.nnThe room got tidied everyday which was nice, but I question how much tidying went on beyond making the bed neat and changing the bin bag.nnThere is a bus stop right outside the hotel making travelling super easy and convenient.nnThere are communal fridges and a microwave which was much appreciated.nnOverall, the location and price are very good even if the room itself isn't great but it was serviceable.
I see people writing good things about things about this place. I’m in a large room with two beds a big TV and it’s very clean. I’ve got everything I need and for £45 it’s a bargain absolute bargain people need to realise when they pay such a low price, not to expect the Ritz. I would stay in this place every night and I stay in hotels a lot.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Stayed here recently to attend a wedding. The room was a shambles the carpet was filthy mold growing on the window. We also had moldy toilet roll. We stayed here for 3 nights with no hot water. We complained to the hotel manager who refused to believe us. No staff during the weekend. You have to let yourself in and out of the hotel. There is a Travelodge Hotel right next to here. Spend the extra few quid and got there instead. It will be much cleaner at least.
Good size carpark at the rear of the hotel and it's free and some street parking if fullnQuick check In ,some information givennRoom was up a flight of stairs doors on top of stairs a bit of a squeeze to get though especially when carrying baggage .nThe room was a OK size as was the bathroom.nWiFi was excellentnShower was hot and powerfulnBed was comfortable the bed frame is metal so a bit squeaky and kept hitting my shins on the small frame legs .nBreakfast not included.nThe location is about a 30 minute walk in to the city but lots of buses go past the hotel .nWould recommend and stay again if in the area.
