Top Notch - stumbled across this place as we walked by earlier in the day. What a find! If you like seafood, its a must. We had oysters to start and the hot fish platter. Sublime flavours, super friendly staff and a cracking atmosphere. You guys have got this so right, well done, I'm sure it only comes through incredible effort. Will be back.
I've been here three times in recent months with family including my Japanese wife and her mother, who are both pescatarians and know their seafood.nnIt's a great location in the high street with lots of free parking nearby in the evening. The interior is decorated with a bit of a seaside vibe. The tables are roomy and simple but comfortable. The staff are cheerful and helpful.nnThe food is great, providing you like seafood. It's a fish restaurant!nnThere is enough variation in the specials menu to keep you coming back. I particularly liked the soft shell crab burger, and my wife was blown away by the giant prawns, which are a huge messy dish.nnOn one occasion the seafood gratin was oversalted, and I've taken a star off for that, but we would definitely go back. There aren't enough seafood places in the UK.nnMy pics are from the three times I have eaten there.
I’ve been here twice. My partner and i have travelled for an hour to go eat here again. Lovely food, amazing service. They also mentioned that they remembered us from our last visit.
You need more space. For more tables. And for tables big enough to take more plates. You deserve more customers provided they're customers who deserve you!. Even amidst London's various fish restaurants I'd put yours way at the top of the list, by a long shot. Not just the quality of fish but the sheer creativity - and I don't mean just playing combination games for games' sake. The taste combinations are a mind-&-palate bogglingly original and delicious. Even the chips look and taste exactly how chips ought!nnPrice? Can't remember. £50-60-70 for two of us - we didn't order wine no room on table anyway and weren't asked. Bill seemed good value even if it was an averagely normal price. For quality and taste it was a bargain.nnWhat dishes do I recommend? The questionnaire-writer's three choices don't make sense. Custard? What's going on?
Been wanting to come here for a while. We use new wave commercially to supply the hotel we work at and thought we would try out the brasserie. It was superb! The service from the south African hostess was spot on. The food was incredible and the wine was outstanding. Casual great seafood restaurant worth travelling for.
