Stayed for a few days. Recommended as a pub, restaurant and hotel. Good selection of beers in great condition, excellent standard meat and veg food with some good wines on the list. 

Good walking and cycling location, moderate hills, plenty of villages with facilities in the area. Pleasant walk to reservoir for outdoor breakfast a highlight.

Staying for 2 nights, came last night for a family Wedding.  Great nights sleep everything including breakfast today is already exceptional.  Thoroughly recommend this place.
Staff are great too, nothing is too much trouble 👍

Lovely pub. It splits into sides (restaurant and bar), with both welcoming. Warm in the winter, and outdoor space in the summer. The food is really nice, with excellent roasts/braised meats, but good vegetarian options too. 
We went for lunch this time, and the 4* review simply reflects that the orange juice was a daft price, the coffee was a bit bland, and the manager kept on calling me "fella"...

We stayed at the inn for one night but we wished it was longer. From start to  finish the staff were lovely and friendly. The room was comfortable with a great view. The shower was amazing flowed with big fluffy towels. We are vegetarian and both lunch and breakfast was fantastic.

One of our favourite pub / restaurants. Menu is a bit limited but very well done. Sunday lunch is always very good indeed. Lots of interesting ales and very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
