Story

South Causey Inn is a friendly welcoming independent hotel situated in the beautiful Beamish Valley.

There are 37 ensuite bedrooms which are all tastefully decorated with an eclectic mix of furniture. Our rooms are in the main house or the adjacent Courtyard, some with King Size beds, Jacuzzi Baths & Hot Tubs. We have free WIFI available throughout the Hotel.

We take enormous care and pride in our food, using locally sourced ingredients. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure the best products are provided by local farmers and fish from the local market is brought in daily. We serve food all day in our relaxed oak floored and beamed restaurant, with a wide menu choice. Our well stocked bar serves locally brewed Real Ales, we have a generous wine cellar, Chef's freshly prepared fruit juices and a wide array of coffees and teas.

There are five beautiful function rooms available, decorated with hanging tapestries and chandeliers that can offer a comprehensive Conference package. The Inn is also licenced for Civil Wedding Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships, Naming Ceremonies, birthday parties and family get togethers - our experienced team of event organisers can assist you in all aspects of function management, to leave you free to enjoy your day.
