What such a lovely little place. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was so good. A clean and very comfortable room. Great price too. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Simply fantastic! Great traditional pub, with excellent food and beers at very reasonable prices. The staff and 'locals' were pretty great too - and very knowledgeable of their local area! Which was great for us 'foreigners' from Down South!!

Probably the best b&b we have stayed in!!
The accomodation, the food, the staff and the local people were brilliant!! 
Nothing was too much trouble!! 
Would love to stay there again - highly recommended!!

Called in for a late lunch after leaving Hexham and glad we stopped here, lovely little pub with great food, great beer and a warm friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this pub as a place to eat out or just call in for a drink.
