Cannot reccomend the Robin Hood Inn well enough. Stopped in after my first day of walking the Wall, and the staff were the most hospitable I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Helped dry all my kit out, and to top it off the food was amazing! Thank you Robin Hood Inn!Rooms: 5/5
We visited on a recommendation, for our son's 18th birthday. Service was very good and starters were good, if only a bit small. However, there was a 40 minute wait for our mains. When they arrived, they were dry and tepid. I suspect they were under a heat lamp for a long time. The manager removed 10% from the food bill, but this was small recompense for food that was very pricey to start with. I won't be returning.
First time I’ve been in over 20 years. I was not disappointed, the food was lovely! Staff were very attentive and service was excellent. We had a great evening and won’t be leaving it as long to return.Service: 5/5
Good food and pleasant staff. On the expensive side. A nice pint of rivetcatcher.Service: 4/5
Brilliant. A fine British pub, great at being a fine British pub! Great beer, honest hearty & really tasty food, with superb helpful & friendly service. Good mix of diners & locals, giving a great atmosphere. What else can you possibly need. Cheers Service: 5/5
I visited the Robin Hood Inn for a wreath making class with a group of friends. The package was £65 and included a welcome tea/coffee and mince pie, wreath making class, glass of Prosecco and a two course lunch. Superb experience. The stuff were friendly and welcoming, the wreath making was brilliant and the food was of a high standard. Would recommend.
We came for lunch today. We got such a lovely friendly welcome and the food was very tasty. We'll definitely be back!Service: 5/5
If you are walking The Wall, this is a great place to stop. The staff is super as was the fish and chips and sea bass. We had a Guinness on the back patio after our day on the Wall and it tasted so good. But, again, the staff was really, really good. So helpful. The only downside is the rooms were very small.Rooms: 4/5
Visited today with my daughter for a very special occasion. Very disappointed in the food Braised pie was undercooked and chewy chips were overdone brick hard couldn't eat them gravy tasted like bovril don't know what was wrong today My daughter had sausage and mash. Sausage was cheap mash like smash. Won't be returning
After two gruelling days walking the Hadrians wall path from Brampton we decided to call the Robin Hood Inn our final destination. And what a good call it was. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible and washed down perfectly with some good local beers. We camped in their field and thoroughly enjoyed our stop here. Nearby activities: Great place to finish the Hadrians wall path Food & drinks: Cooked beautifully and a great portion. Fresh and clean Tyneside Blondes
