Lovely place, friendly staff and dog. Great place to stop for refreshments after a long walk. Didn't have food but they have a good selection. Also they play good music.

Have eaten here twice now and have found the food to be delicious and beautifully presented. Slightly posher than normal pub grub with prices slightly above normal to reflect this. Children's options are variants of the adult meals which mean they are perhaps a little too sophisticated.

Amazing Sunday Lunch, a little pricey (£17.50 for two course) but well worth it! Would recommend :)

Wednesday 14th February Valentine's night special menu. After a bitterly disappointing FULL English breakfast the Saturday before I wasn't holding out much hope for this Special nights special. The food was Ok, nothing to write home about. The place was full of couples staring lovingly into each others eyes. The staff worked hard asking if we were alright for drinks every few minutes, but took ages between courses. Perfect sales training. We have eaten there quite a few times now and I feel that once they have established there name they have began to pull in with portions and quality. Let's just hope they were having  a couple of 'off' days.

Meat on meal was not cooked enough. Veg was a bit weird. Beetroot cabbage and mushy sweet potatoe carrots with roast dinner really.
