Great old pub, Bar maid was nice and fantastic at her job, didn't catch her name, but kept checking if you wanted another drink and bringing it to our table. Would go back pet friendly, had my dog under the tableService: 5/5
Lovely friendly pub and staff. Popular amongst locals and visitors. Great live music. Perfect venue for functions and community events. Perfect location to rest your feet after a trip to Bury Market or Malls. Lovely beer garden to sit out and enjoy the weather. Lots of intimate places to sit or commune at the front bar. Lots of character and charm. A real gem and prices to match. Wheelchair accessibility: wheel chair friendly pub. The front door is able to take a wheelchair. Plenty of space to be seated at many of the tables. Sloping floor to the back bar and function room. The outdoor garden is also easily accessible to wheelchairs and buggies. Wheel chair toilet facilities provided.
Nice traditional style pub in the centre of Bury, Old World feel, we sat in an area that would be cosy in winter with an open fire and a selection of games and books which was a nice touch...on a warm summer's day it was a respite from the heat, although it has a beer garden we didn't go outside
Excellent pub. Lovely staff . Spotless . Live gigs at weekends. 10 /10Service: 5/5
Seems like a clique pub wherein the regulars expect to know you if you visit — I enquired to the member of staff who served me if their beer garden was open to which I was met with “it’s currently closed” — usually when someone enquires about this it is opened for them, but not this time no… to be fair, the fellow who served me I feel was trying to be polite but that just felt off, and the boozer smelt a little too… so it wasn’t the only thing off
Sat and had a few drinks in the beer garden. Its only small but catches the sun and has music playing. Good prices. Will be backService: 5/5
Cozy pub with a proper English but local atmosphere. The lady behind the bar was really friendly and the prices were cheap. No Carling and no loo for a poo in the mens toilette though, so only 3 stars.Service: 4/5
Very cosy, traditional pub split over at least three rooms. Friendly atmosphere, with very helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely visit again. Don't know if they do food as we weren't eating.Service: 5/5
Good music. Newly discovered beer garden makes this place even more attractive. Great staff.Service: 5/5
What a great pub this is. Tucked away near the big church in the heart of Bury Town center. The beer is top class and the pub has a great atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Great staff , well managed.Food: 5/5
