Don’t bother looking for anywhere else to stay in London. The Kensington Hotel is hands down the best hospitality experience I’ve ever had—period.nnFist of all, the location is impeccable. It’s in a great neighborhood in its own right, but also with the tube station and many busses nearby, very easy to get around everywhere. It was lively, but not noisy, which for us was the perfect combination.nnSecond, the room was fantastic. Beautifully decorated, clean, and huge compared to other places I’ve stayed in London.nnThird, the hotel amenities. We didn’t use the gym but did get afternoon tea. The food and service were great.nnBut what really sets The Kensington Hotel apart is the people and the service. From start to finish, everyone was friendly and personable each and every time we walked through the doors. We were with our young son for his first time in London, and the team paid special attention to him and made our stay truly unforgettable. Big thank you to Thomas and the entire team for the personalized service and for thinking of all the little details that made us feel at home and like family. We can’t wait to come back!
We recently stayed for 5 days. Luxurious boutique hotel with outstanding service. Super location for the big museums with easy tube or walking access to central London.nThanks to Kumar and Noel for amalgamating our several bookings so that we could remain in the same room for the duration of our stay. This was not an easy task!nMaria on reception was extremely helpful with our requests for assistance!nFinally Daniella in the restaurant provided 6 star service and expert advice on food choices. She is an asset to the business!nAndrea
I just wrapped up a 3-night stay at The Kensington and I truly couldn't imagine staying anywhere else in London. On my second night, an issue came up — but night manager Noel handled it swiftly, professionally, and with genuine care. He resolved everything promptly, accommodated my every request, and even upgraded my room to make sure I was completely comfortable. That kind of service is rare and it made all the difference. The Kensington has earned a loyal guest. Highly recommend!
Kensington Hotel was an amazing place for our family to stay on our visit from US! The atmosphere and rooms were exactly what we were looking for...more partitioned, less modern.nThe service was top-notch - George, specifically, was phenomenal. Ensured we had what we needed and managed the most efficient check-out and a car waiting with luggage loaded on our way to the train to. Paris. Highly recommend!
I came here for high tea with my aunt. It was a pleasant affordable experience to introduce someone to high tea. Their theme was “Let Us Eat Cake” to coincide with the Marie Antoinette exhibition at the V&AnnAs far as high teas go I’d give it a 3/5 on taste and flavour. 4.5/5 on the design of the sweet treats to match the theme. 5/5 on service.nnAs a high tea connoisseur, I won’t visit here again as I do like my teas and sandwiches with a creative flair in taste as well as my sweet treats to not taste just of sugar. However, if you are looking for a first experience of affordable high tea, I can recommend them for their insta worthy presentation.
