Highly recommended to any travelers. Beds are super comfy, with soft sheets, and very nice comforter. We stayed for 7 nights and there was not a single night I didn't enjoy my sleep.nReceptionist and doorman were very friendly and patience with our questions.nLocation is also very convenient, right next to Victoria train station don't worry noise level is very minimal and underground, also bus stops nearby. Short walk to Buckingham palace and Hyde park.nOverall we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend to anyone who's looking for a place to get some good rest during your journey.
What a nice surprise to walk into this very classy lobby, welcomed by a very friendly bellman. The location really couldn't be better. It's steps away from Victoria station. In fact, thought it was closed while we were there, but they actually have an elevator the drops you right into the station. The front desk was willing to help whenever we asked and the room was what we expected. We didn't try the breakfast, as it was a full buffet and priced as such - we simply don't want that much food to justify the cost. We did try the lounge one night. Servers were very friendly, but not exceedingly knowledgeable. We got the impression that some of the workers were new to the area, having recently relocation from India. Still they were nice and engaged the help of others as needed. One of the bartenders was VERY kind and accommodating, coming to our table to help clarify questions and even to offer very helpful and friendly advice to us as travelers. We were a little disappointed that the lounge manager came to hurry him away. Overall, we were pleased with our choice, and would certainly consider staying here again.
Very nice hotel. Great friendly, accommodating staff. Room was very small. Two people can’t get past each other. Little room to open one suitcase, let alone two. But very clean, comfortable with good HVAC providing comfortable temps. Downside is no elevator directly our floor. Must walk down flight of stairs and long hallway to exit building.
Wonderful stay at the hotel. Great welcome and check-in. Near Victoria Station as well as the buses and coach station, so access to theaters shops. The hotel is fabulous with free nonalcoholic drinks and snacks. The breakfast buffet choice is excellent with good service. Would have liked lactose-free yogurt. Bar with drinks after the theatre really enjoyed the vibe and the service was excellent. Room with tea coffee chocolate but the hot water for the bath was lukewarm. Informed staff re water who said would look into it. Overall recommend the hotel would stay again.
A very classy and elegant traditional old fashioned hotel with gorgeous interiors, small but clean and comfortable rooms, decent bar and restaurant with quite good food and drinks. F&B service was okay, nothing extreme either way. However the check in service was exceptionally poor. Only 1 front office member on duty who looked and behaved intimidated by a guest in front of me who was complaining, moaning and sulking over the size of his room and the issue could not be resolved over an extended period of time. As a result, I stood in line well over 30 minutes because of one entitled guest and a staff who can't control the situation. Very poor for such a great establishment.
