Highly recommend this charming little restaurant in the heart of Portree. Service was polite and fast. The food was terrific - probably one of the best meals we’ve had in Scotland. Highlights include the sausage rolls, mussels and honey carrots seriously I could have eaten 2 portions of the carrots by myself, they were like candy. Reservations are a must during the busy season on Isle of Skye.
Needed to book for dinner as it was so busy.nFood was amazing.nService was excellent.nPaid about £140 for 2 starters, 2 steaks, 2 puddings, 2 drinks.nDefinitely a highlight of our stay in Skye.
Good food, managed to get a table without waiting, around 5.45pm. Good selection on the menu and a decent kids menu. Food was very tasty.
Booked a table here, and the staff service was excellent. The food was really nice but a bit overpriced, considering the half roast chicken didn't include any veg or potatoes whatsoever. There's a discretionary service charge added to the bill, but you can tip what you think is a fair tip. It's best to book your table as its very busy!
After a long day of driving all over Skye and hours of hiking, it was heart warming to have the food at Antler’s. Skilled cooking without being pretentious. Very flavorful. Generous portions but not crazy big. We had fish haddock and double-fried chips that came on a bed of cream&olive sauce with side of sweet pea and mint I think puree; roasted cod on a bed of green herb sauce the sauce was the only meh thing on the entire table, braised cabbage topped with some sort of cream and granular cheese; and roasted leaks. All very good in taste and value. Honestly we expected and were prepared to the usual deep fried pub food but Antler’s was a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommended.nIncluding 2 beers and a single Whiskey, total was €60.
