Really nice food, the sides were great. The fish n chips looked excellent too! Service was fine, they were friendly enough. Food came out fairly quickly. Dessert wasn't a highlight but it was fine, mains n sides are much better.
I had venison burgers as my tour guide had recommended them. It was great. I could taste the flavor of venison clearly, along with goat cheese. Could be strong for some people, but it was okay for me. I loved the fries as well. They were very crispy and golden brown. I would like to come back here again!
Tucked away inside the Portree Hotel was one of the most amazing dinners I ate in Scotland. At the Antlers Bar and Grill.nnA cozy establishment. They set me up to face outside the window for a view of the town.nnThe service was extremely professional and helpful.nnThe food was amazing! Such great preparation and presentation. Antlers Bar and Grill Portree, Isle of SkyennWe didn’t stay at the hotel — we only came here for dinner. We found the restaurant on Google, which showed a 4.4 rating. Since it was a quiet time of year and not many restaurants were open in town at night, we decided to give it a try.nnTo our surprise, it turned out to be a great choice! The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and the service was friendly and attentive. It just goes to show that you can’t always rely on Google reviews — sometimes you have to experience a place for yourself.
We arrived early so we had to be seated in the high tables. Food was good, but a bit slow to arrive around 30 minute wait probably due to the overwhelming number of customers. The burnt butter was divine. The two seafood mains we had were nice too.
