A huge Wetherspoons with outdoor seating on Camden Lock. It is a very busy area which reflects very much on the pub, the staff are incredibly busy, so you will expect to find some tables not cleared and quite possibly a queue at the bar.nnPositive notes there are toilets on the ground floor no stairs and although there may not seem to be a table at really busy times, if you are prepared to wait the turnaround is quite quick, and despite how busy it was, the food didn’t take a long time to come out, and as we all spoons, the prices are reasonable!nnNegative, I am positive that the place is cleaned thoroughly overnight, but one of the tables by the bar had chicken bones on the floor underneath it, now I know it would’ve been done by a customer not a member of staff, but I walked past it twice, I don’t understand why a member of staff wouldn’t have also seen it and cleaned it up. When I arrived I needed to clear and clean my own table, I’m not too proud to do that, but it’s worth noting on a review I think.
Served a dessert that was cold. When I asked for a refund, it was refused and instead they reheated it and brought it back with the same melting ice cream. The staff member was rude and unhelpful throughout. Very poor service and disappointing experience.
A really stylish Wetherspoons in Camden Town! The place has a modern, relaxed atmosphere, and the service is attentive and friendly throughout. The fish and chips were amazing excellent quality for the price. Great value and definitely worth a visit.
Met a pal for a catch up.nGuinness wasn't great, food hit the spot though and decent quality for the price.nnNot much of a atmosphere.nnNo covered smoking areannTourist spot so I'd watch your belongings!
Great pub by the river. I’d never been to The Spoons in Camden, but what a great find. Less than £10 for a round of two drinks, and right by the lock, you can’t go wrong. Charlie was amazing! She was running around like noone’s business clearing tables and all sorts. Her service was top notch. I’m going back there for sure!
