REVIEW FOR HOT SAINT PIZZA:namazing! would eat again! as pizza connoisseurs we really enjoyed the fluffy crust and the toppings were very well balanced - can’t recommend the vodka pesto more and the meatball ricotta - so rare to come across ricotta like this on a pizza outside of the states! dips were v yummy too. We’ll be back.
Dined here for a roast dinner on Sunday evening, what an experience! From the warm welcome at both the front door and the room upstairs, to finishing our wine in the main bar afterwards - 10/10. The room is gorgeous, very busy, even though we booked the last slot, it was a very nice atmosphere to walk in to. Service was polite and attentive, drinks came promptly, as did the food. My boyfriend and I both had the roast lamb and shared some cauliflower cheese. Everything was genuinely amazing, hot and perfectly cooked/seasoned. Yorkies were the best I’ve had in London. Afterwards we shared the “Banana Miso soft serve” - try it. Perfect light, cold and fresh sweet treat after a rich roast. We were welcome to stay downstairs and finish our wine - a very nice end to the week and would absolutely recommend!
A day of annual leave spent loping around the north of London took me here, where I last intended to sample Hot Saint Pizza on what I quickly deemed an overly crowded Friday evening. Stuffing my face mere millimetres from the Old Queen’s Head’s boisterous vertical drinkers would’ve all been too much, but today, beating the rush, the wait was over.nnThis is what I can only describe as an elite pizza experience, and I knew it before I’d even tasted the first slice. I genuinely felt emotional when it arrived at the table.nnThere’s a pizza place in Scotland called Civerinos that chooses to grate parmesan over its crusts, and I’m thrilled to find somewhere local that does the same. This pie, however, is superior: juicier, with tomato sauce that drops onto your plate mid-bite, and cheese cooked to complete perfection.nnHot Saint is comfortably one of the best pizzas I’ve tried in London – in a gorgeous pub at that. I’m still in here as I write this, a very happy annual leave man raising his pint to an insurgence of lowly post-work verticals.
Hot Saint Pizza at the Old Queen’s Head was superb. The crust had that perfect mix of crisp and chew, the sauce tasted fresh, and they’re clearly not shy with the parmesan either.nnTried a few different pizzas and honestly none missed. The marinara looked simple but somehow ended up being one of the standouts. It was busy since we went on a Saturday afternoon, but the service was still genuinely good and everything came out quickly without feeling rushed. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, and definitely somewhere I’d go back to
perky little spacious place in the neighbourhood has amazing decor and energetic staff and a great happy hour with cocktails for £6 six on Wednesdays and going to an event here for slam poetry and just a great vibe. definitely come back
