We came here in a group of 4 for the Sunday Roast Dinner, its first come first serve for the tables outside the pub.nnThe food was great best lamb roast I have had in years and thenchicken roast was really good too. Would recommend ordering the cheesy cauliflower side.nn4.6/5
Lovely place to go for food.nMe and my girlfriend got here via a youtuber who had many vlogs regarding food in London.nSo for our weekend out we decided to come here.nnFirst impression is that it is a real old authenthic place that you must visit.nTheir charisma and decoration are unique.nWe dont bump into much of these places in the heart of London. Speaking from a tourist perspectivennTheir food was amazing and this is something that I miss in Amsterdam! Their dish was soo nice that it overwhelmed me. I had to ask the waitress how I was supposed to eat it. Combine some items or not?nnTheir staff was amazing. There was a lady who informed us how the local people eat the famous meal. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the dish but back to the staff. She was really friendly and helpful. Wish that more people had her positive vibes/mindset. She is a huge fan of manga if i am not mistaken. So if you read this..you are a great employee!nnHope you guys will open a new restaurant in Amsterdam!
Visited the old queens head for some food and drinks. Served some lovely drinks by Octavian and Rachel and had a lovely burger served by Gabby. Catered to dietary requirements and double checked everything was all good for us when served. Very good experience and lovely atmosphere, would definitely visit again!
Old Queen’s Head is my legit favourite pub in London. Always a great vibe, never misses. Cocktails are especially the spicy marg.nnService was great from the staff, with a very warm welcome & a chorus of goodbyes.nnHighly recommend.
amazing sunday roast in north london!!nnmy friends and i visited the old queens head in islington for a sunday roast last weekend and had a lovely time. everyone who worked there was so kind, extremely helpful and just made us feel so at home. we were even asked for feedback on what we thought they could improve on to which we responded not a lot! that i think was such great touch.nnthe chicken and roasties were perfectly cooked with decent portion sizes. i am always really hesitant to order chicken whilst im out eating but they hit the nail on the head!nnthe atmosphere was fantastic with really good music. they also have an upstairs ‘club’ area for friday/saturday nights which i’m looking forward to going back to. the pub garden was also really cute! great drink selection and cocktails as well.nnin total i spent £33 for the roast and two drinks which i think is fairly decent for london. i will absolutely be back!
