What can be said about this pub that hasn't already been said. Yes, it was rammed. Music laughter and good times. Brilliant staff courteous friendly efficient and look to be having a good time. Forever associated with Amy Winehouse who practically lived here and even served behind the bar on occassions. Has created a cult following and it's dealt with and acknowledged honestly and without feeling like anyone's cashing in.nA London must visit for any music fan or fan of Amy's. Camden brewery ales on tap, 2hich the author always enjoys.
Stopped by The Hawley Arms on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy, no open seats inside when I arrived. There is sidewalk seating out front and a constant flow of people coming through. The atmosphere felt lively and social.nnInside, there are lots of interesting artifacts and decor to look at while standing at the bar. Even without sitting down, it was worth stepping inside to take it all in.nnBehind the pub is a large Amy Winehouse mural, which is easy to access and definitely worth seeing while you’re in the area. Many people were stopping to take photos and spend time looking at it.nnIf you’re visiting Camden, this is a solid stop to experience the energy of the neighborhood and see a well-known mural nearby.
The Hawley Arms has a beautiful atmosphere during the holiday season. The place is not too crowded and serves a great Sunday Roast. The music playlist is great if you like the noughties. I only wish there would have been more of an Ale selection in the upstairs bar.
When I went to this pub I had just gone to see where Amy Winehouse lived and I cried a lot…This pub was also her favourite! I couldn't not go there! They have lots of great beers and a super friendly staff! Everything is magically wonderful! The music and the atmosphere We miss you so much Amy! We’ll love you forever! Greetings from Rome!
The food here is actually really good! Drinks are as any pub in London, but good atmosphere. Not to be a boomer but the music was crazy loud couldnt talk to people next to us, probably a once off though because Ozzy died the day before
