Sunday lunch in the back garden here is a treat — shaded by big fringed umbrellas, properly relaxing. Had the tuna niçoise: generous, tuna cooked perfectly rare. Handsome dining room too if you’re inside. Great service, no rush. Will be back!
Great location, and a very nice back yard. We went for a dinner without reservation. It was full on a Sunday evening. There was table available one hour later. We said ok. We will have some drinks at the garden and we will move to a table in an hour. They said you have to make a reservation.n-Ok could you do it please,n- they said no.nIt is better if you do it online:. We did not understand but we did it online while standing in front of them. It is the first time i had such an experience. During the conversation they were kind enough to offer us to go to an another pub near by The Pig and Butcher .nThe back yard is so lively and great atmosphere. We had Sunday roast, chicken and beef. Classical. Good taste, juicy, and bigggg portions. The sides were also amazing. Good and quick service. We had Cheesecake to finish. Also delicious. We will definetly come again.
I've been here three times now and honestly have no complaints. The atmosphere is always great, the service is amazing, and the general managers are really friendly and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend the Albion Burger and the Apple and Elderflower Spritz if you're visiting.
This is one of my favourite pubs in London!nPerfect spot for a Sunday roast with amazing atmosphere and friendly staff.nI personally ordered Porchetta roast and it was delicious, one of my favourite ever tried in London. My friend ordered the lamb roast and apparently it was perfectly cooked, it melted in their mouths which is how it's supposed to be.nThe place is very busy so sometimes the service is a bit slow, but there is room for improvement. Everyone that served us was super friendly.
Just wanted to mention we had the most lovely waitress at The Albion. Her name is Prue. She is such a warm and authentic personality and the service was top tier. She made our night and we’d gladly come again soon.nnOne sidenote on the food, the lamb rigatoni was too salty. I’m sure it would be delicious with a little less.
