Absolutely lovely spot! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is simply delicious. Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with care. Whether you’re looking for a nice place to relax or a great meal to enjoy with friends, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!
Nice ambiance, good food. Burger and prawns were delicious. Had to request napkins and utensils individually when our food came, maybe because we sat in the bar area? Typically, that’s would be standard. Overall pretty nice, would return.
Tucked away on a quiet residential road and directly opposite the open expanse of Hampstead Heath, The Freemason Arms is a real hidden gem. Whether you’re stopping by after a walk or planning a relaxed meal out, this pub offers a great setting to unwind.nnThere’s a welcoming front beer garden that’s perfect for people-watching, as well as a spacious rear garden that’s ideal for groups or those wanting a more laid-back vibe. Inside, the pub strikes a balance between traditional charm and modern comfort.nnOne of the standout features is the table service via app, which makes ordering food and drinks incredibly easy and hassle-free. The menu doesn’t disappoint—we tried the charcuterie board, halloumi fries, calamari, and mac & cheese, all of which were fresh, well-prepared, and generously portioned. It’s clear they put care into both presentation and flavour.nnWhether you’re after a casual pint or a proper meal, The Freemason Arms is definitely worth a visit—especially if you’re in the area for a walk on the Heath. Friendly, convenient, and consistently good food.
We waited 50 minutes for our food. We saw several people arrive, eat and leave while we were still waiting.nMy hamburger and chips were average, 3 out 5.nMy wife ordered fried king prawns and halloumi which were both excellent, 5 out of 5.
Lovely day here with family friends!!! Great catch up, beautiful place to sit,and yummy food! Nice and cool indoors on a hot day! And brilliant and kind service from both our servers Leo and Gopi
