The food here is fantastic. I would point out that the meal arrived warm and just lovely.nThe sticky chicken and squid were super delicious.n downstairs, clean and spacious. Major issue is the smell, which just requires more frequent flushing and cleaning. Otherwise pretty clean.nI also didn’t see a change table in the men’s room, despite being a family friendly establishment. Suspect in the women’s?.
A wonderful pub in a perfect location. We came early for a drink after a walk on the heath and sat in the charming garden area. I have visited in the past for my friend’s birthday and the food was delicious. A fabulous setting for a casual drink/meal or for an occasion and event. I will certainly be returning.
We stumbled apon this pub after a walk, and we were so pleased! Food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Our server was Corey and he couldn’t have been kinder. Would definitely recommend.
Food was DISGUSTING and extremely OVER PRICED.nnTwo people, one starter 2 glasses of wine and a bowl of pasta was nearly £70!!!nnMy friend ordered a chicken burger which was hard and the one slice of lettuce was old. This was sent backnnHOWEVER, it's a nice pub and you can't go wrong with a drink, even if it's £13 for a large glass of wine. And the staff were wonderful. Especially Harris who was very attentive and helpful. It's because of him we will be back... for drinks only
Food was excellent. Pomme tart was exceptional. Close to heath so perfect for walk before or after or both.
