Came for the Sunday roast and the meal was good but on the expensive side. Gravy wasnwatery and the pork was a little dry. The chicken was flavourful and tender, not dry at all. Lovely stuff and great vibes.
Perfect Sunday Roast at The Flask Pub -nnI had a wonderful Sunday roast lunch at The Flask Pub in Hampstead. The roast beef was cooked to perfection, accompanied by all the classic trimmings, and the portion size was just right. We did ask for extra gravy, which was promptly brought to the table, adding to the meal’s enjoyment. For dessert, we shared a delicious rhubarb and apple crumble with vanilla ice cream, which was the perfect end to the meal.nnThe atmosphere was cozy, with pleasant background music that wasn’t too loud, making it easy to chat. A thoroughly satisfying experience and a great spot for a traditional Sunday roast!
Service was good. We had the special 3 course traditional Christmas lunch with main being turkey, pigs in blankets, leg ham, yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, brussels sprouts, carrots and parsnips. It was a huge meal. Would have preferred to pay less and have less of the main meal as we had to take half of each main meal home in a takeaway box, but it shows how generous the servings were. Also highly recommend ordering a lemon, lime and bitters drink.
It was my first time at The Flask after reading so many great reviews — and it absolutely lived up to the hype! My visiting guests from France had the Sunday roast for the first time, and it was spot on — delicious food and genuinely friendly service. We’ll definitely be back again!
Nice pub in Hampstead.nNot much outdoor seating but cool enough in this head.
