Saturday lunch was fabulous for food and service. we started with sourdough bread with whipped butter and beef dripping...so simple and yet so scrumptious! we then had the gnocchi and pork belly plus triple cooked chips. everything 5*. a real shame for the atmosphere: every single table around us had a dog. I love them, but not having three dogs poking around me while enjoying a meal. also, it gets very loud, so all in all not the best place for a date
So happy that we chose to come here as our Sunday Roast while on holiday in the UK. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was absolutely delicious easily the BEST Scotch Egg that I've ever eaten, the staff and our server were all very kind and attentive, and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting about wine with the owner excellent selection by the glass! I've already recommended The Pig and Butcher to several friends and will certainly return on our next visit across the pond! Thank you so much for a lovely experience!
This is a must visit. Everything we ordered was perfect. We tried the scotch egg, fried gnocchi and the pork belly. Also a delicious sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Lovely atmosphere, very cozy.
Easily the best roast dinner available in London. Homely, relaxed and fantastic service.nnPorchetta is a must if you get there before it runs out! Would happily visit every Sunday.nnStaff a super friendly and knowledgeable towards the menu that changes daily. Seasonal ingredients brought out in their finest form.
Good quality of the products, the menu is a mix of classic and contemporary touch. Large choice of wines. The team is simply kind and gentle, quick too, and their smile are a real pleasure. My bf had birthday in two days, not even sure how they did feel it, and suddenly Miss Nina sweetly arrived with a gift dessert for him. What else you might ever look for to enjoy a simple nice L dinner time?
