Very nice. A proper pub and bar. Friendly staff and regulars. A pleasant pint. They clearly know how to look after their cellar and beer lines. Really enjoyed the visit and will go back again.

Visited for the first time this weekend. Initially for a drink. Very friendly welcome from all the staff. Attended again for the quiz night - great fun! Had a wonderful time. We went back the following day for a meal. Very good choice of food, something for everyone. Delicious meal and very good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Good food and reasonable prices. Decor to match the name. Reasonable selection of draughts beers. Friendly welcome from the team.

I live here and have received excellent customer service, delicious food and the people who go in here and run the bar are friendly and very welcoming. I would highly recommend this public house/hotel. There's a quiz night during the week and early bird menu's. I can't fault it. I've had several meals here and it's the best food I've had in a pub in Scarborough so far. Highly recommend.
