Friendly staff always make a stay anywhere more enjoyable. The staff that were on duty this weekend were amazingly friendly and warm towards all the guests. Entertainment was also very good. The menu was diverse and the food was always hot and fresh. Thank you for making the weekend very enjoyable. Maria x

Great for single bedroom. No phone in bedrooms. Very clean. Food good. Entertainment hit and miss.

Had a great time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going there it was my second time there and it was just as good second time around

Ok place ruined by noise, room doors have powerfull closers which ensures that whenever someone leaves a room a big bang ensues. Fire doors along corridors are not damped so are banging incessantly all night. Creaky floorboards abound too add to the general maelstrom. No sound proofing or very thin walls so you can join in on your neighbours conversations. Staff are very good though and the food is exceptable, but if you value your sleep you may be disappointed. I realise that you cant expect total silence in a hotel and have stayed in many but l find the Cumberland noisier than most. , wont stay here again.
