Stayed overnight for my husband’s birthday in room 14. Plenty of parking. Easy check in. Lovely room. We ate in the restaurant in the evening where we were joined by family. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Breakfast was very good as well. The staff working the bar and restaurant in the evening and also breakfast room were so friendly and efficient. We plan on returning for another break some time.
Delightfully located country lodge. Lovely, spotless room, very comfortable bed. Cosy bar area, beautifully decorated for Christmas, very good food. The hotel's biggest asset is their wonderful staff, warm and welcoming. Would not hesitate to return.Rooms: 5/5
I booked a table for a family get together , and when we got there we had been given the 'snug' room all to ourselves ! It was perfect for being private and then we couldn't annoy other guests with our laughter the food was really good, freshly made, and the chef was able to do any additions we asked for the guy behind the bar and serving the food was brilliant super helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I'm booking for mother's day , it's the perfect setting sat in the conservatory overlooking the garden.
Well what can I say the room we booked for the night was a superior double and what a room. Lovely four poster bed awaited us with the usual tea/coffee making facilities and bath/shower combo a comfy couch and tv. Staff absolutely lovely to deal with and helpful. When we booked some reviews mentioned poor WiFi but when we was there we had no issues what so ever. Could be because it was quiet so barely any users or it could be the staff have improved their WiFi either way it was free and useful. Morning breakfast was absolutely lovely full English breakfast or a choice of continental or both. Again staff very helpful with any questions we had. Only real issue was the heating took some time to actually come on but once it was on the room soon warmed up nicely. Will we go back? Definitely Would we recommend? Certainly please go give them a visit and enjoy yourselves there.
It’s run by a kind and friendly woman, who was very helpful. Note that on Sundays you cannot eat at the restaurant there - but the pub down the road, Denisons, serves food until 6pm.
Well furnished comfortable room opening out onto the courtyard - easy parking just outside - nicely furnished bar and restaurant- check on the speciality theme restaurant nightsRooms: 5/5
Staying there now it's five just had the best chunky. Chips ever been here all week booked a extra night tomorrow fab staff lovely place to stay well happy Rooms: Very nice and very clean

Lovely hotel,staff very helpful good size rooms, beds very comfortable,breakfast Lovely, only downsize was bathroom very small, sat on loo and you were literally sat on side of bath . Plus lights outside rooms, too bright.Rooms: 4/5
