Well, to start with. On our arrival at the reception we were given a warm welcome and the young lady took our bags and said she would arrange to have them delivered to our room, so we could have a look around the shops. The room was clean and tidy, with a good welcome pack to look at. The restaurant staff were all very professional and friendly. We only had one meal at the hotel will our friends and that was brilliant, well presented and delicious, our breakfast was the same with lots of choice and of course the full english breakfast. We would love to go back to the Palm Court Hotel as Scarborough is definitely worth a second visit.

I went in one Friday evening to order a cocktail from the bar. The girl made a mistake and served me up the wrong cocktail. When I raised this with her instead of just changing it she argued with me and said it was my fault. She made me pay for her mistake. You should never do this with a new customer. I did go back in and speak with the manager who offered me a free cocktail but this was not the point. I mean what is the extra cost of shaking up another cocktail? I did go in to look over the place as I was contemplating having a big birthday party there. I would never go back and most certainly would not expose my guests to such bad service. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The staff where very friendly. Coffee better then Costa. But a little more but worth it. Very comfortable with nice background music. Oh and forgot the biscuits they where yum

This is a great hotel , central to everything and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I would choose to stay here every time i visit Scarborough. Free parking and the food is always good.

Very friendly and relaxed evening piano a great bonus played very well made our evening. The breakfast was very good too plenty to choose from.
