Somewhat disappointed with the experience, both in the restaurant and Reception. On arrival told to drive around the Crescent until a parking space became available (we had to be "persistent", apparently!) then display a permit - an additional £3 per day, with no guarantees of a space! The room was warm and clean, generally okay (ignoring balcony doors that won't shut, paint off woodwork, hole in the bottom bedding and cracked tumbler in the bathroom.) Restaurant service was slow both for evening and breakfast. Food was pricey but to be fair the (inclusive) full breakfast was very tasty and worth the wait. Shame to leave a less than positive review but this reflects the experience we had.

Second time that I've stayed at the Crescent & I really like it. Classic Victorian building pretty close to the sea front. Nice clean rooms with all facilities, exceptionally helpful staff, very good restaurants & bars. Bit of a pain parking but they can help with that. Recommended.

Excellent hotel, lovely and caring staff. We had a great room, and the breakfast was fab. We've got to go back to Scarborough soon so hopefully we'll be staying there again

Had a great stay yet again over the Easter weekend staff can't do enough for everyone, rooms excellent had a top quality meal in the restaurant.

Very enjoyable Burns Night supper. Pleasant and attentive staff, good table linen, excellent food and good beer.
