Great Premier Inn in super location. Walking distance to seafront and amenities. Rooms look updated and refreshed particularly the bathroom. Room a little warm, even though heating is adjustable. Staff really friendly and really helpful, being warm and attentive when we arrived. We ate dinner 1st night in adjoining restaurant, good value, very nice, friendly staff, but remarkably cold! Wd definitely stay here again.
The hotel staff deserve five stars as they were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the reason that I’ve given 2 stars is in relation to the breakfast which on the first day there were no food available and it was chaotic. The second day was slightly better but no normal teabags and also the presentation of the food could be better. As a result I will continue to use Premier Inn but will never have breakfast there again.
Hotel accommodation is good however the breakfast falls far short if expectations. Over cooked hard fried eggs swimming in oil, soggy mushy black pudding, grilled tomatoes that haven’t seen much heat, soggy hash browns and cold plates. Stayed for two days and breakfast the same on both days. The staff are polite and helpful and the hotel is well situated for all amenities. I would book again but have breakfast elsewhere.
Much as expected from any Premier Inn. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was not as good as usually have and the restaurant rather dark. Situated in a good location for ease of access to town main shopping area, for cliff lift to sea front but there is a lovely garden walk down..Rooms: 4/5
When we visited, the hotel had just completed a refurbishment. It was very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location and great place for couples or families.Rooms: 5/5
Hotel as you would expect for a Premier in. Hotel staff friendly We couldn't work the aircon so room was a bit hot. The restaurant was disappointing. I spent a long time waiting for scrambled eggs. Location was fantastic but had to pay for parking at the hotel across the road.
We arrived at 15:10, check-in is from 15:00, we was told our room wasn't ready yet it would be another 10mins, so we sat in reception, at 15:55 we was finally allowed to check into our room, taking it beyond 16:00, no explanation given as to why or what had gone on if anything. I'm disappointed with this service as normally with premier inn I've never had any problems at all. We get to our room finally, the extraction doesn't work when you get a shower but nothing the hotel can do as they're full apparently.
What life savers this team is here at Scarborough Premier Inn. I was booked in to The Grand which is suppose to be Grand and the Sh*t but frankly is was just the sh*t part... I walked into Premier Inn a little distressed and Carman and Tracy on the reception help me by getting a room booked for the evening and gave me the perfect room and service. The hotel is spotless and will be great when the restaurant renovations are complete!
The Premier plus room was brilliant. Standard of room and cleanliness excellent. Lovely quiet room good nights sleep All staff on duty so helpful and friendly a credit to Premier Inn. No restaurant available this visit but it wasnt a problem being so central Rooms: New rooms brilliant Walkability: In the centre of scarborough close to all amenities
Staff are so kind, have a smile for guest, very professional. Accommodating and more than willing to go the extra milethe room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels and I lost left my sons blanky but with no hassel they were very kind and sent it in the post so so grateful been there twice now and would definitely again Rooms: 5/5
