Basic but can be cost effective if you book early enough. Its one of the cheapest places to stay in Scarborough if you book early. Rooms are really basic and in need of a spruce but the breakfast is good. Shame you have to pay for wifi and parking is limited. I give it 3 stars even though be hotel ratings it would be 2 star. It gets the extra star for being cheap and friendly.

Great Travelodge. Not your typical Travelodge as it's an old hotel that has been taken over. The room I had was large and on the second floor. Breakfast was good and was taken to order. I would imagine at busy times it would be a buffet. No parking but parked in a small nearby car park. Free between 6pm and 9am. I understand all parking in Scarborough is the same. Would stay again.

Very good. Everything clean tidy. Shower was a warm welcome in this cold weather. Excellent location

Staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating - Thank you Sophie!! Nice big room with a seaview. Exceptional location and a parking deal. Lovely big bed, Clean simple bathroom and a bar and restaurant downstairs. All you can eat breakfast next morning was excellent.

I visited recently to drop my wife off who was staying at the hotel. Location is very convenient for town centre and the Spa conference centre. Reception area is nice and staff are friendly. This isn't a purpose built hotel but one made from nocking several buildings together so room size varies and corridors have lots of twists and occasional stairs. There were only 2 power sockets in the room (including one for the kettle). All other sockets had been blanked off. Room was clean and sufficiently furnished. The TV in the room was quite small. En-suite shower room looked a bit dated and toilet flush handle needed some work. Travelodge still only give you 30mins free WiFi.
