The Elphinstone Hotel is an excellent place to stay, there is a varied menu for breakfast, full breakfast or any constituent parts are cooked freshly when you go to restaurant area and is lovely.nThe staff are great, friendly and knowledgeable about the area.nI would definitely stay there again.
Smelly room, damp/ dusty.nCarpet didn't look like it had been hoovered.nSlept with window open, didn't hear any noise, but, didn't go to bed until midnight..n Potential for early bedders to be distributed due to room overlooking big beer garden .nnLovely staff.nVery attentive and friendly.
Went for evening meal . . 4 of us all had different things and all were really nice. Best Cullen Skink I have ever had. Pleasant staff. I would be glad to go back another time
Great little family run Hotel and bar. Nice rooms and lovely breakfast. Staff are very friendly offering great service. Thanks for a good stay.
I didn't stay, I and my family had a lovely lunch. I had the sea food mornay which was delicious and the raspberry roulade was to die for. Dog friendly- my dog was not well, the staff were brilliant and put the un ate lunch to takeaway. Good decor in keeping with the hotel. Clean. Only flaw stairs to the toilet. Good lunch not hurried, fire burning cosy and comfortable.
