Lovely food and drink including special ales, gins and coffees served in a traditional small hotel on Biggar's High Street. Real fires and lovely welcoming staff. We really enjoyed our visit and the meal was the best we have eaten for months. We will definitely be going back. It's best to book a table as the place is busy & we saw some folks being turned away.

We stayed here 2 nights for the Bonfire 2017. A lovely hotel with prime location in the centre of Biggar.The staff made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble.The hotel was very clean & homely with excellent food.The room was of high standard,very comfy with everything we needed. We would highly recommend this hotel & would love to return again.An added bonus was that we could bring our dog,Howi who lovely his stay as much as we did.A new year to remember,Fantastic..xxx🐾

Great family run little hotel/pub. Very welcoming..food great.. (haggis balls excellent). Rooms clean warm and cosy. Really great stop off point on the outskirts of Edingburgh.

Staff were lovely and so accommodating. Lovely atmosphere in a great town. Food and drink reasonably priced. Best part of the stay was the bed!!
