Do yourself a favour, head to the chippy in middle of the high street.nnWent to townhead today at lunchtime. Hands down the Worst chips I have ever had from a chippy. Zero taste to them, the tomato sauce is that watered down it’s just vinegar. How this chippy has won awards is beyond me, it’s certainly went down hill since. Lesson learned for next time we are in biggar, wait for the other chippy to open.
A flying visit to Scotland always has to include a haggis supper. First time from here and was very nice indeed. Service a bit slow but only one fryer and one pleasant young lady serving and it was fairly busy. Will definitely break my journey in Biggar again next time too.
Only went in for chips this time but 2 bags were more than enough. Have had the big fish supper small portion one and the large breaded fish supper before. Can highly recomend. Every thing fresh and well cooked.
Great fish supper. One of the best I've ever had and great service. Good portions and cost. Will be back.
Visited today for lunch for a fairly big order. Woman serving was rude beyond words! I honestly have never experienced customer service like it. While the food was good her attitude stunk like off fish will definitely not be back.
