Visited recently and had to wait 45 minutes for 2 sausage suppers. No explanation, no apology and around 20 people waiting in the shop.nnAt £7.90 for a sausage supper it was a very poor experience despite how good the supper was.
Visited today for lunch for a fairly big order. Woman serving was rude beyond words! I honestly have never experienced customer service like it. While the food was good her attitude stunk like off fish will definitely not be back.
This is a somewhat late review from last year, probably due to still being in shock over the price, it was quite close to closing time and it was pretty much what have you got left, so I was told they could do me smoked sausage and chips, I watched the guy cut a decent sized sausage in half and then two scoops of chips, and that was my meal, I’m pretty sure they could of done me a bigger portion but when he put the order in the till and it came to £6.50 for what was basically a small kids portion I was gobsmacked, don’t get me wrong it wasn’t bad at all taste wise but if your telling me that was worth the money then I’ll be dammed, especially when I’ve paid less for bigger portions of the same meal down the south of england
By far the best Chippy ever. We always stop on our way through. Something for everyone and so tasty. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Fantastic fish and chips, sausage, battered haggis, pies etc although no gravy available they also do pizzas. Prices are great and portions are large too. Would definitely visit again and send to be very popular.
