Amazing 2 night stay here. Staff very attentive and efficient. Great sized rooms, lovely decor and fantastic food. The New Lanark Heritage Site is very interesting and informative... spent a whole day exploring and would have explored the fall again too if we'd had time.

Great hotel, lovely room with a stunning view. The staff were all really friendly and the food was very good. Our only gripe was the kids were only allowed in the pool at certain times, not a big deal, we just planned our day around that and headed to the pool at 10am as instructed. We got there to be told that we can go in, but at 10.15 there was an aqua fit class that will take up 75% of the pool. Absolute madness, don't restrict the kids access and then lump adults in to the kids' time. I would definitely stay again, just the little niggle with the lack of common sense for the above.

Had a fantastic 3 day break,just after the new year, it was just what we needed after a busy Christmas. There was a wonderful mix of things to do , Riverside walks, relaxing in the spa and of course the fantastic museum. All staff were helpful and so friendly nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was first class and drinks were no more expensive than anywhere else I have been.I would highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Its so interesting about the village and the walks up to the waterfalls are breathtaking lovely scenery all round. The history of the place is worth listening to and especially about Robert Owen the founder of the village. The hotel is lovely with super friendly and very helpful staff. Nice swimming pool with the usual sauna, steam room etc. Would recommend the hotel and area for a visit.

Was here for a friend's wedding and could not think of a better location. Absolutely stunning scenery and the most friendly, helpful staff. Stayed in one of the Waterhouse places and it was the best view to wake up to
