Had a delicious Sunday lunch here today with my friend . Everything cooked to perfection, very professional and friendly. The setting is beautiful, much enhanced with gorgeous sunshine. All in all, a lovely experience . Hope to come back soon.

A lovely setting by the loch . Went for the lunch special menu which had a nice variety to choose from. A good sized meal. Service was little slow between courses, even though very quiet about 2.30pm. Friendly, helpful staff. I would still go back.

Went today with the family and had to wait over 30 minutes for our meal and it wasn't like it was crazy busy or anything. When the food came the portions were on the small side and the food was very average, the staff less than friendly and at almost £11 for macaroni cheese we won't be back. Another HUGE issue was their overflowing septic tank which was pouring out all over the path and down through the car park and down next to the kids play area. There was one small wet floor sign next to it but people were having no choice but to step in it with their kids without realising it was sewage. I brought it up with the waitress who said yeah it happens all the time in summer, well the simple answer would be to empty the tank more frequently. Disgusting.

I loved it here. An up-market bistro perched on the edges of Lanark loch with friendly and affectionate staff, a varied menu and superior food. All for a surprisingly low price. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back.

This place has seriously gone down hill. When booking said needed table back in 11/2 hours which was fine then they took over 25minutes to bring starters and another 25 to bring main coarse wasn't just us that waited either ..wouldnt say the place was full food was over priced for what it is. Staff ..(girl with long black hair and glasses needs to smile#tornfaced) No baby changing area that I could find had to change her on my knee sitting on a toilet ...I live locally and it will be a while before I go back ...not a good experience
