Due to Snow and being unable to carry on my Journey North called into Days inn at Abington to see if rooms were available. I was greeted with a smile and had a room for the night within minutes. The room was clean warm and comfortable. I would happily visit again.

Basic hotel amenities but with a comfy bed and clean, warm surroundings this hotel offers excellent value for money, the breakfast options are again competitively priced at £5.50 for the continental option delivered to your room. My advice would be to ensure you have snacks and drinks as the cost if these is excessive being located at a motorway services. All in all a good value place to lay your head if you are travelling on the M74 or just visiting the area. My room had a shallow bath but with a good pressure shower.

Nice rooms with comfy beds. Friendly staff and close to services for food ect. Free parking when you check in at reception. Pet friendly.

Second night was much more comfortable than the first. Had a vehicle breakdown and got the last available room. It was a smoking 🚬 room. (I didn't know that hotels still did that) Right off I could tell that the housekeeping staff doesn't clean the smoking rooms very well. It was highly evident after I moved into a very clean non-smoking room on the second night. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Public spaces were clean. Amenities were sparse. Don't think I've ever seen such a small TV in a hotel. Price was nice though.

Good Basic Hotel. Stopped here because my mate was doing a self propelled 3 peaks challenge. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the staff were polite. Big car park as well with a petrol station and restaurant (services next to it).
