I went for a lunch with my wife at The Grill at The Dorchester. We are both full time wheelchair users so we were taken to the accessible entrance by one of the friendly staff. The main entrance has three steps to get in. Once inside we checked our coats and were taken to The Grill. The carpets are quite plush which makes pushing a wheelchair a bit harder but it is to be expected. The staff at The Grill were extremely helpful and removed the chairs from our table as they were not needed. Lunch was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We did not use the toilet during our time there so cannot comment on it.

Now that is a place with a restaurant where gourmet cuisine and Asian food meet. Great selection. If you like spicy dishes, this is the place for you. Refined almost posh atmosphere. Prices are on the expensive side. But then this is the Dorchester. Take a stroll in the lobby or take time to sip a coffee to enjoy calm, luxury and voluptuousness.

My husband and I came to stay here for a few days! The manager Joshua was absolutely wonderful! We booked a room but the lights were dim, so he bought lamps and offered a change of room! We took his offer! The room he gave us was gorgeous and exceeded all expectations! We had breakfast in bed, the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming! Joshua treated us very well, he gave us a tour to other rooms, treated us very well, he was professional, so friendly and very posh! He catered to all of our needs and made us feel at ease! Our stay was lavish and he made it special! Thank you SO much to Joshua and the 5 stars are for you!

Went for a corporate event, the lobby and bar area look stunning, as you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. We had dinner in a function room, the food was of a good standard, the main course was steak and wasn't quite as good as some of the steak restaurants in London. The highlight was the gingerbread creme brulee. The staff were professional and courteous - would recommend for anyone looking to hold an event

So this review isn't by a customer but rather a person who visited family who work there (multiple occasions). So what I can say is that the Dorchester appear to take care of their staff fairly well - at least as far their canteen goes. The food is really good and there's lots of it. I can only imagine if that is how they feed their staff, then they must feed the guests very well! My uncle has run the barbershop there for years and is certainly top notch (I realize I'm biased but he literally takes years off my father and other uncles when they go to him). Definitely worth a visit!
