For 110 years, The Ritz London has been the benchmark by which other hotels are measured. Perfectly located in a landmark position in the heart of Piccadilly, the iconic hotel has long been the choice for Royalty, celebrities and and countless other discerning guests.

The 136 beautiful bedrooms and suites feature fully restored Louis XVI style interiors and most rooms overlook the stunning Royal Green Park or world famous Piccadilly. Whichever room you choose, you'll experience the best in luxury accommodation and service.

The magnificent Michelin-starred Ritz Restaurant is often described as the most beautiful dining room in the world and leaves an indelible impression on all who dine there. The finest of British ingredients are cooked using Escoffier-inspired classical recipes.

Afternoon Tea at The Ritz is a quintessential British experience; a rare and wonderful tradition that has stood the test of time.

In 2002, The Ritz London was awarded a Royal Warrant by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales for Banqueting and Catering Services, becoming the only hotel in the world to receive such an honour.

The hotel has six stunning private dining rooms, five of which are located in the William Kent House, the stunning Grade II listed townhouse adjoined to the hotel. The exquisite collections of lavishly decorated event rooms retain their original Italian Renaissance style décor.

We booked afternoon tea months in advance to celebrate a special birthday on a trip to London. This was our last activity and was the icing on top of the cake.nnThe service from the front door was excellent the staff were so welcoming and helpful. There’s a cloak room opposite the women’s powder room to check all coats- they aren’t allowed in the palm court. Then we were seated at our table and looked at the choice of teas and the menu of the days sandwiches.nnThe sandwiches and cakes arrived and looked beautiful and tasted better. We had a person in our party who doesn’t like condiments etc and I had emailed ahead with this information and they checked to ensure she would be happy with her sandwiches- which she was. They also asked if we would like any more and brought them over to usnnthe cakes were excellent too. Small, rich and decadent. We asked for a box to take them home which was great as we couldn’t eat them all.nnThank you for a wonderful experience for a special birthday. Would love to come back in the future.
By far the BEST & most magical afternoon tea I have ever been to. I spent my birthday here at the festive afternoon tea, I am still talking about how amazing it was!! from the details to the waiters and waitresses, staff were impeccable! The most welcoming and kindest staff. I have quite a few allergies and they made sure everything was explained thoroughly so I could enjoy everything! They even brought out a little birthday cake, I couldn't thank the staff enough!! 10/10 service, we felt so welcomed!! We previously stayed at The Plaza Hotel in NYC which was also magical, but the staff at the Ritz London are NEXT level, no comparison!! I have booked here again to treat my friend as I was so blown away by this all. Thank you so much again
Easy walking distance to high street, boutiques, and Buckingham Palace, which is a must!nWe stayed the night, the rooms were exquisite, the decor beautiful, with everything provided for the perfect overnight stay.nBreakfast served in the Ritz restaurant was a fabulous experience.nThe service was very friendly and professional.nWould highly recommend

The food was great as usual among the stunning yuletide decorations.nnThe Staff maintain their legendary attention to detail while adding warmth to every interaction.nnFrom the gilded Louis XVI furnishings to the marble halls adorned with seasonal decor, every corner upholds the hotel's reputation for timeless sophistication.nnA truly magical Christmas experience that lives up to The Ritz's sterling reputation.
Afternoon tea. I was worried because it was already fully booked even two months in advance, but it is better to check the website frequently without giving up because there are a lot of cancellations as the day gets closer. Although I was a traveller whose English was not that good, I was satisfied with the polite and friendly service I received. It was also nice to be greeted in Japanese. I had a good cultural experience, being exposed to beautiful silver cutlery, luxurious furnishings and traditional tea cakes.nIt was also nice that takeaway bags were provided, which is unusual for a high-end restaurant, and as it was the last booking slot from 19:30, it was empty by the time we left and the staff were happy to talk to us and take photos. I'd love to go again.
