"The Cricket Inn is conveniently located between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth and is at the heart of the seaside village of Beesands. It is set along the South West Coastal path, with a Blue Flag awarded dog-friendly mile-long shingle beach with stunning scenic walks stretching all across the bay. Fishing boats still bring in the catch of the day and deliver them straight to our door."

Unfortunately very disappointing. Service was dreadful and food average, all brought out with 20 minute gap. Wouldn’t return. Just to reply to that comment: It was the fish and chips, seafood pancakes and the seafood linguine which all lacked flavour, so if you could let the kitchen team know it wasn’t just the fish and chips. I’m sorry if I struck a nerve, I hope you find customers feedback constructive in the future, as it could really beneficial to you.
This was our second visit having only popped in for a drink before. The food was superb and the staff were efficient and friendly. Great place to visit with lots of space outside when the weather is nice.Service: 5/5
Unbelievable food, amazing location and very attentive staff. Quite pricey, but worth it. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
We were recommended The Cricket Inn and visited for a delicious lunch! Tasty + fresh F+Cs, properly delicious seafood pancake packed with crab, scallops, prawns + white fish. The chocolate tart was really standout. We will be sure to visit again when we are back in the area.
Had the seafood pancakes. Was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. A really enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
Nice pub right on the sea front. We only had a meal there, we didn't stay there. However the meal was absolutely great and the pud was great - best sticky toffee pud I have ever had.Location: 4/5
Stopped for lunch. Very welcoming. Dog friendly. Seafood pancake was delicious and a good selection of beers. Would recommend.
Took some getting there with the main A379 unexpectedly closed at no notice! Took to the lovely not wide Devonshire lanes and Waze leading the way. I live locally and must admit that I hadn't been down some of these lanes, and our smart VW Transporter had to breathe in. Our welcome at The Vricket Inn was perfect and the overall service was first class. Choice of food was sensible. I went for the Chicken Liver Parfait with toast and my wife chose Battered Prawns with a spicy dip. To drink, I had a Pinot Grigiot and my wife, a sift drink. The total including a voluntary 10% gratuity totalled £26. They have some really nice accommodation with the sea being about 50 yards away. Perfect location for a romantic week-end.
Beautiful accommodation, stunning views from our room, lovely little village. The service was first class and very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic. Many thanks, we will be back!
Stopped in on a cold December walk along the coast. Great soup and a cheeky side of chunky chips helped warm us up. Friendly staff with an interesting collection of historical photos on the walls.
