We stayed in the windmill friday and saturday 27/28 january, me and my wife had a lovely weekend the place is absolutely brilliant, andy and nicola are great hosts and really friendly, we planned on hitting the town but instead decided to get a take out and enjoy the comforts of our rooms, thank you andy and nicola for a cracking weekend at the windmill, paul & christine.
Great location in the centre of Scarborough, the host's are really lovely people. We stayed in the balcony suite of the windmill, the accommodation is very clean and tidy and really piecfull. I would definitely book again! Highly recomend 5Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely stunning accommodation, lovely friendly family that run the place. A***** 10/10. We have been stopping in the cottage there which has a double and 3 single beds. Beautiful and stunning set up. About 10 minutes walk to the town and 20 minutes to the beach. Definitely a must visit for Scarborough. Also all the lights on at night are just beautiful and stunning to sit outside on a warm summers night.
Owners very friendly and helpful, goof communication via email pre-stay. Out accommodation was perfect for our 3 night stay. Hoping to come back next year : 5*Rooms: 5/5
Know Scarborough very well as my Dad lived there so how I didn't know about this hidden gem is a mystery. Fantastic place which oozes charm and history. Extremely well presented, clean and beautifully decorated. Close to all amenities and train station. Added bonus is there is car parking on site which is at a premium in Scarborough. We stayed in the bottom half of the windmill and I absolutely adored the industrial floor stage lamp so much I've bought one myself. Check it out you will love it.
First time here, a real gem! Loved our stay. Very welcoming hosts. Our family room was very spacious. Good choice of breakfast, loved the full English! Would definitely recommend as a place to stay in Scarborough. We will be back.
What an absolute treasure, a true hidden gem. The room i on the 'balcony' and is stunning, clean, cosy and overlooks the courtyard. A great welcome from the hosts. Breakfast yet to be experienced but in no doubt it will be top notch.
Warm and friendly reception from Nicola. We stayed in the lower part of the windmill. A labour of love for sure. Beautifully presented and to a very high standard. Nicola offered us breakfast to our room or in the restaurant which she did not have to do as we were self catering. So thank you for do that for us. Tesco and Sainsbury and the railway station is within a short walking distance. A walk to the south promenade is around 30 mins. So you can park the car at the premises and forget about it. Thank you for a peaceful time and for looking after us. It’s just what we wanted and needed.
