Ordered the luxury thick melted hot chocolate & the English style one! Both absolutely amazing!! Also got a Nutella & strawberry waffle to share. Best waffle I’ve had, so light not sickly at all! Would definitely recommend to any fellow sweet toothed people! Staff very friendly & lovely seat outside under the gazebo
So, I think this was my first ever time having this sort of waffle. I've been coeliac my whole life and they have gluten free waffles! I had one an a luxury hot chocolate. It was amazing. I don't know how it compares to other waffles, but for me it was just the ticket. Would absolutely recommend to people visiting town.
Would not recommend if you want anything in a timely manner - we ordered at the till one after another thought we were the only customers in the cafe and was clear we were from the same party and all of our items were delivered to the table 20 minutes apart after a very long wait approx 40 minutes, meaning we all ate at different times. Very strange atmosphere and the food is not worth the price, churros frozen supermarket ones and not properly hot, and the waffles anything you could get from a cheaper cafe. One of us ordered a hot chocolate and it was never delivered to our table though we were sat for over an hour waiting for everything and was still charged for it. Also one of the workers seemed to record us as some sort of promotional video, or just for himself not sure. Will not be returning, sad that all the good reviews took us there.
We discovered it on a trip in 2018 and were happy to find it still trading and as busy as ever. The staff are always helpful and our son is always happy to be able to indulge with a soya hot chocolate. Highly recommended
Best hot chocolate I've ever tasted. I don't normally like hot chocolate usually smells good, but little taste. This was amazing and had a very rich chocolatey taste
First time in Windermere, I saw this fun little café and treated myself to a post-run hot chocolate. Best hot chocolate I've ever had, and everyone inside was really friendly and accommodating. Amazing spot, which I will hopefully be able to return to soon . -Mo Farah :PFood: 5/5
Came here for a takeaway coffee but they had ran out of takeaway cups so sat outside for a latte. Latte was very nice. Also couldn’t pay cash as they had no change in till. Young lad serving was very professional despite couple issues he was facing.
This was a lucky find in Bowness. Amazing hot chocolate, so rich and very chocolatety served with strawberries and cream. It'd be rude not to. Plus chocolate cake. Pure delightFood: 5/5
We've been coming here for years every time we visit Lake District. Rhona, George and Holly dog were so friendly and had a lovely chat with us. Hot chocolate was incredible as always. Rhona was kind enough to make two small versions for my kids and ensured it wasn't too hot.
Very friendly staff and very tasty hot chocolate. Recommend for a quick break.Food: 5/5
