Booked a Saturday lunch here , seems very quiet , great service very friendly staff team . Good food selection on menu , served in good time .Food was great overall. Dog friendly in bar and garden only , open fire too , Sadly the interior needs some loving . Still worth a visit
Great Sunday Lunch. Amazing roast potatoes and Yorkshire’s, nice selection of veg not over cooked and the beef was lean and tender. Perfect and great value. I must also express our pleasure with the attentive, polite and efficient service. Well done all. We will be back, but book early, it was packed!
Fantastic food, lovely garden and friendly service! I have been here a few times now and the food and service are always on point. I was especially impressed when we showed up once with a rather large group without a booking - hoping for a table but with no expectations - and we were warmly welcomed and our food came out hot and in a timely manner despite them being swamped. Great selection of options for dietary requirements e.g., gluten free, vegan as well. Highly recommend!
Archetypal english country pub/restaurant. We only popped in for a drink whilst travelling but the food on show looked top notch. Anyone wanting a good Roast on Sunday wont be making a mistake here, just make sure you book up before though - it gets VERY busy !
Great place for Sunday lunch. Food well cooked and at reasonable prices. Varied menu to suit all tastes. You can even eat outside in their garden on warm, sunny days

I'm not local and we came here for my sisters birthday. The staff and service was lovely. Food was excellent at fair prices. The steak was spot on, would recommend and will likely visit again.
