Really cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff. We had the Sunday lunch and went for the 28 day old beef which was superb. The portions were hearty and there was so many lovely trimmings too. It’s the perfect reward from a long walk in the South Downs
A mixed experience. We went for a roast, which was disappointing in terms of the cut of the meat, bland roast potatoes and unseasoned vegetables. That being said, the starters of the thai dish, soup and chorizo were really tasty. I'd recommend the wine in the photo. As always, the staff were friendly and attentive.
Properly lovely pub. We popped in at the end of an afternoon for some refreshment. Nice range of wines by the glass, Harvey's local ale and even some delicious tapas which was a bonus. Staff were friendly and the tables well segregated. Really pleasant visit, thank you.
What a wonderful experience! This place has the friendliest staff. And the food was absolutely amazing! We tried most of the menu and will be back for the rest soon !
A trip to Lewes isn't complete without a trip to the Rights of Man. Excellent, outstanding service. Such friendly people. And an excellent Spanish menu. Great for tapas style food and we had the vegetable paella. Juicy chunky veg. Excellent quality.
Excellent pub. Good choice of ales and the food is really good too. Nice atmosphere, coping weĺl in the current rules-heavy world that we live in. Pleasant staff.
Lovely pub. Staff friendly & efficient. If you like real ale, they serve a lovely pint of Harveys - a local brewery based in Lewes
First time out after 2nd lock down so expectations average but delivery welcoming and good food and drink.
I have visited the Rights of Man many times! Fantastic food, great tap drinks selection. Always well staffed, and the top terrace has beautiful views and makes for a lovely experience in the evening, with a view of the lit up castle. Will always frequently return!
